Directions: Saturate fur with warm water. Using a small amount, lather and massage into coat from head to tail avoiding the eyes, rinse thoroughly.

Can I use it on a puppy?
Yes. The formula is pH balanced for dogs and uses plant-derived cleansers, which makes it gentle enough for puppies and for frequent use.
When can my puppy have its first bath?
Most puppies can have their first bath at around 8 weeks old. Before then, wipe them down with a warm, damp cloth. Use warm water, keep water out of the eyes and ears, rinse thoroughly and dry your puppy completely so it does not get cold.
How often can I bathe my dog with it?
It is gentle enough for daily use, but most dogs need a bath far less often than that. Every few weeks is typical for most coats. Long-coated breeds and dogs that love mud may need it more often.
Is it safe for dogs with itchy or sensitive skin?
It is formulated for exactly that: pH balanced, free of sulfates (SLS), parabens, phthalates, alcohol, dyes and formaldehyde, with USDA certified organic aloe vera to help relieve dryness. If your dog has a diagnosed skin condition, check with your vet before changing products.
Do I still need a separate conditioner?
No. Pawfect Potion cleans, conditions, detangles and moisturizes in one step, so one bottle replaces shampoo, conditioner and detangling spray.
Will it help with matting?
It loosens knots and reduces tangles, which makes brushing between baths much easier. It will not dissolve a tight mat that is already there. That needs a dematting tool, worked from the edge of the mat outward, ideally on a coat that has been washed and dried first.
Is the lavender safe for my dog?
Pawfect Potion is a rinse-off shampoo scented with Bulgarian lavender oil and chamomile. Rinse until the water runs completely clear and keep it away from your dog's eyes and mouth. Never put undiluted essential oils on your dog, and if your dog has breathing problems, check with your vet before using any scented product.
Can I use it on my cat?
No. This formula is made for dogs. Cats have different skin pH and grooming needs, and some ingredients that are fine for dogs are not suitable for cats, so use a cat-specific shampoo instead.
